Kindergarten Preparatory Program
Funding provides support for Bright Beginnings, a pre-K program for 3-to-4 year-olds from low-income families from the Greater High Point area, building foundational skills in literacy, language and mathematics to help prepare children for success in kindergarten. Growing the Distance was established to serve underserved communities in High Point through STEM-based after school programming.

Collective Impact
Funding supports formalizing and growing a network of Youth Enrichment Providers (YEPs). Funding also supports the development of shared measurement, coordinated programming, and a new Capacity Building Fund to increase the quality of youth services in High Point.

Ready for School, Ready for Life leads a 10-year initiative to build a system of care to support children ages zero to eight and their families in Guilford County. Ready, Ready continues to implement a prenatal to age five system across High Point and Guilford County. Funding supports the development of two separate action plans to advance the initiative’s priorities and strengthen data and policy initiatives.
