High Point’s New Community Report Card Measures City’s Overall Health

On October 16, the Foundation for a Healthy High Point, in conjunction with the Hayden-Harman Foundation, the United Way of Greater High Point, the High Point Community Foundation and High Point University, unveiled a new Community Report Card that measures the city’s overall health. Data for the report card was collected and organized by the UNCG Center for Housing and Community Studies and the UNCG Center for Youth Family and Community Partnerships. The UNCG team also developed an Asset and Health Indicator map, to help determine the health needs in specific zip codes throughout Greater High Point.
