Press Release: The Foundation Announces Changes To Its Board Of Directors

High Point, N.C. — The Foundation for a Healthy High Point welcomes Matthew Jobe, attorney with Wyatt Early Harris Wheeler LLP, and Dr. Sheri Lim, Assistant Professor in the Department of Physician Assistant Studies at High Point University, to its Board of Directors. “Mr. Jobe and Dr. Lim bring tremendous expertise, knowledge and commitment to the Foundation’s Board of Directors” said Tina Markanda, Executive Director of the Foundation.

As newly elected members of the board, Jobe and Lim will join a dedicated group of volunteers who provide leadership and guidance for the Foundation and its mission to encourage, support, influence and invest in efforts that improve health and wellness throughout the Greater High Point community.

Board Members Louise Foster and Ken McAllister will conclude their tenures as founding board members at the end of the year. “Mrs. Foster and Mr. McAllister have provided invaluable insights to the Foundation during its early development” said Jim Keever, Board Chairman for the Foundation for a Healthy High Point.

The Foundation for a Healthy High Point was established in 2013 through the merger of High Point Regional Health and UNC Health Care.  The mission of the Foundation is to encourage,
