The relationships that people have with family, friends, and neighbors can have an impact on health and well-being. Positive relationships and social support can reduce some of the effects of other challenging health factors. Community building and interventions aimed at increasing social support can help to improve the health and well-being of a community and its members.

Collaboration
The Foundation is a lead agency in helping to establish the Healthy Guilford initiative, a collective impact approach focused on healthy eating and active living.
Convening
We have support multiple convenings focused on increasing equity and addressing health disparities, including a Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion summit and a Maternal and Child Health conference.
Advocacy
The Foundation participates in and funds multiple efforts focused on creating community dashboards or scorecards that can be used to identify needs, impact planning, and direct resources.
