The Foundation For A Healthy High Point Reviews 2017 Grantmaking

In 2017, the Board of Directors for the Foundation for a Healthy High Point approved $645,399 in grant awards to 12 organizations. These funds support projects in areas of teen pregnancy prevention and early intervention, behavioral health, and other services.
“The grants approved by the Foundation’s Board represent strong collaboration among organizations that are committed to improving health and wellness in High Point”, said Jim Keever, Board Chairman for the Foundation. “The Foundation continues to make investments in agencies committed to making measurable impact in our community” said Tina Markanda, Executive Director of the Foundation for a Healthy High Point.
Since the Foundation’s inception, the Board of Directors for the Foundation for a Healthy High Point has approved $7,415,262 in grant awards.
The Foundation for a Healthy High Point is a private foundation that was established in 2013. The Foundation exists to encourage, support, influence, and invest in efforts that improve health and wellness throughout Greater High Point.
